Process to report a claim
          
            
              
              Report the incident to your Agency
             
            
            
           
          
            Dos and Don’ts at the scene of the accident
          
          
            In the event of an accident, please do the following and gather all
            possible information:
          
          
            
              
                Dos:
                
                  - 
                    When did it happen? Be precise if possible.
                  
 
                  - 
                    Where did it happen? Provide address, road
                    names, landmarks and/or build.
                  
 
                  - 
                    If there is a witness who saw this, please
                    get their name and full contact details.
                  
 
                  - 
                    Take pictures (license plate, IDs, area of
                    the incident, damage and anything else useful).
                  
 
                  - 
                    What happened? Provide full details,
                    description of circumstances and damages or injuries, and
                    weather or road conditions.
                  
 
                  - 
                    Who is involved? Collect the names and
                    contact details of all persons involved.
                  
 
                  - 
                    Call the police – if possible, get a police
                    statement and any reference numbers.
                  
 
                
               
             
            
              
                
                  Do Not
                
                
                  - 
                    Do Not complete the Incident Report Form in
                    front of the Third Party.
                  
 
                  - 
                    Do Not discuss any issues of liability or
                    fault with other parties involved.
